Day Trip: There's something for everyone on The Spread Eagle II. Kids from two months old to 90 years old have enjoyed the trip as much as we've enjoyed having them. Once at the island, we lower a stairway into knee-deep water so you can get your gear to the beach safe and dry. Then you can swim, beach comb, splash in gin-clear water or stare back at the brilliantly colored tropical fish as you snorkel the reef, the choice is yours. We prepare lunch fresh at the island. You can gorge on our buffet lunch, laze on white sands beaches or under the cockpit shade awning. Chat with fellow passengers or crew while having a cold one from the bar. In the afternoon we leave the beach and anchor near a living reef for more spectacular snorkeling. We sail back with sails belly full and trade winds on our tail. Our Vessel:
We have both sun and shade decks and a real bathroom / changing room. Our twin outboard engines are the most quiet and environmentally friendly available. The boat is U.S. Coast Guard certified to carry 49 passengers and is the roomiest of all the catamarans operating in the area. Our seating is set up to accommodate large or small groups. Spread Eagle II has a stairway that lowers at the front of the boat for easy access while at the island and reef. We also offer a fresh water deck shower for those that want to rinse off the salt. Our ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT buffet lunch is the best in the business. We shop every day to get the freshest food possible. Build your own sandwich on Pan de Agua, a local bread. Start with a choice of solid white tuna salad, premium meats, American and Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and sliced bell pepper. We even have peanut butter and jelly. Add some pickles, carrot sticks, deviled eggs and coookies, no one's watching. Top it all off with fresh local fruit like pineapple, oranges, bananas, papaya or melon. Our complimentary bar is always open. We have premium sodas and Pina Colada. Have as much as you like. On the way home we serve Pan de Agua, cheese and sliced apples. You won't go hungry, that's a promise.
